Specialized in Dry Needling

Dry needling is a specialized treatment method in which the physiotherapist treats tight muscles using a thin, dry acupuncture needle. It is called “dry” needling because no fluid or medication is injected, only a needle is used.
During dry needling, the physiotherapist focuses on trigger points, also known as “muscle knots.” These are small areas of muscle tension that can cause pain, both locally and in other parts of the body. By inserting a needle into these points, the muscles relax quickly and for a long-lasting effect.
Dry needling is an evidence-based treatment aimed at resolving muscle-related problems. The treatment is carried out by specially trained physiotherapists.

Do you recognize the above symptoms? We’re here to help.
Together, we identify the cause of your complaints and create a personalized treatment plan to address them.
Assessment: first, the physiotherapist discusses your symptoms and examines where the trigger points are by applying pressure to different areas of your muscles.
Treatment: the physiotherapist inserts a thin needle directly into the trigger point. This causes the muscle to contract briefly and then relax. The needle is removed after the treatment; it is not left in place as with acupuncture.
Exercises: after the treatment, you will receive exercises and advice to help you stay symptom-free for as long as possible.
For long-standing complaints, the therapist often treats multiple muscles in your arm, leg, or along the spine. The treated area may feel slightly sore or stiff afterward, but this sensation usually disappears within 24 hours.
